We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with specialized experience in Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) compliance and tax reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring full BIR regulatory compliance, and supporting audits and tax-related activities for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file all BIR-required tax returns (e.g., VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.) accurately and on time

  • Ensure compliance with the latest BIR regulations, issuances, and tax rulings

  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all tax-related transactions

  • Liaise with BIR officers during audits and assessments

  • Analyze financial statements and recommend tax strategies aligned with current tax laws

  • Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Maintain updated knowledge of local tax laws and BIR circulars

  • Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions and transactions

  • Coordinate with external auditors and ensure proper compliance documentation

  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Mandatory

  • Proven experience handling BIR compliance and tax audits

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or taxation

  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR procedures

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar)

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills
