About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Assistant to join our growing team at Fitera Systems, Inc.' in Pasig City Metro Manila. This full-time role will provide essential support to our Finance and Accounting departments, with opportunities to assist in a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks and contribute to the overall financial operations of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Processing and recording financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and expense reports
  2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and reconciliations
  3. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents
  4. Providing administrative support to the Finance and Accounting teams as needed
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial tasks
  6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and assisting in the implementation of new accounting systems and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  2. Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  3. Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  5. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders
  7. A team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
