Key Responsibilities

  • Installation: Installing electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, motors, and lighting in buildings and other structures.
  • Maintenance & Upgrades: Performing routine maintenance and upgrades on electrical components and systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent outages.
  • Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions and faults using various testing devices and hand tools.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations to prevent hazards.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpreting technical diagrams and blueprints to understand the layout and requirements of electrical systems before installation or repair.
  • Inspection: Inspecting electrical components, equipment, and wiring to identify defects or potential hazards.
  • Documentation: Keeping records of work performed, materials used, and any issues found during inspections or repairs.
  • Collaboration: Working with architects, engineers, construction teams, and clients to coordinate electrical work and provide professional advice.
