About the role

Philtrust Bank is seeking a talented New Accounts Staff to join our Greenhills Branch in Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and processing new account applications, ensuring seamless onboarding of our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Assisting customers with opening new bank accounts, including savings, checking, and time deposit accounts
  3. Accurately processing new account applications and supporting documentation
  4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies
  5. Cross-selling additional financial products and services to meet customer needs
  6. Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to new accounts
  7. Providing prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries and concerns
  8. Collaborating with the broader branch team to deliver a consistently high level of customer service

What we're looking for

  1. Requires a Bachelor's degree (BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or banking role
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
  4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  5. Proficiency in using banking and customer relationship management systems
  6. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive branch experience
  7. Fluency in English and the local language (Filipino)
