About the role

As the New Accounts Staff at Philtrust Bank's Ortigas Branch, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient onboarding of new clients. This full-time position is based in our Ortigas Pasig City location, where you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to meeting the banking needs of our community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Assisting customers with opening new accounts, including checking accounts, savings accounts, and other banking products
  3. Completing all necessary account opening documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly
  4. Educating customers on the features and benefits of Philtrust Bank's products and services
  5. Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
  6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all customer transactions and account activities
  7. Adhering to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  8. Actively participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of branch operations

What we're looking for

  1. College diploma or equivalent
  2. At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or banking role
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers of diverse backgrounds
  4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  5. Proficient in using computer systems and banking software
  6. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor
  7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
