About the Role

CIT is seeking a highly organized and proactive Interpreting Coordinator to support our daily scheduling operations. This role is essential in ensuring interpreters are assigned efficiently and that clients receive accurate, timely service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate and schedule interpreters for on-site and remote assignments, consecutive and simultaneous (end-to-end process).

· Manage calendars, appointment updates, and scheduling changes.

· Communicate with clients and interpreters to confirm assignment details.

· Resolve appointment conflicts and support urgent, same-day requests.

· Maintain accurate documentation and update client/interpreter records.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coverage and workflow efficiency.

· Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in scheduling and coordination of interpreters

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with close attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, and CRMs.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

· Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely during PST hours.

Schedule

Training Schedule (PST):

3 weeks – Monday to Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time, US)

Working Shift: Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 10 pm PST(Pacific Standard Time, US)
