Mortgage Coordinator

5C Virtual Assistance is teaming up with a reputable mortgage company in California, and we're currently seeking (2) skilled Mortgage Coordinators to become part of their remote support team.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll serve as the main point of coordination for all loan files. Your responsibilities will include:

• Gathering, organizing, and reviewing borrower documentation (such as IDs, income proofs, and bank statements)
• Making sure all requirements are complete, accurate, and submitted within the set timelines
• Working closely with loan officers, underwriters, processors, appraisers, and borrowers
• Monitoring loan progress and important deadlines throughout the application and closing process
• Keeping the loan origination system (LOS) and CRM updated with precise and timely information
• Following up on pending items and helping clear conditions
• Communicating professionally with US-based clients and borrowers through email, phone, and chat
• Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all parties are updated on next steps

Qualifications:

We're looking for someone who can immediately contribute to the team:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Mortgage Coordinator, Loan Processor, or a related role (US mortgage background is required or highly preferred)
• Solid knowledge of the US mortgage workflow—including application, documentation, underwriting, conditions, and closing
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines simultaneously
• Familiarity with LOS/CRM platforms and commonly used tools (Google Workspace, MS Office, email, etc.)
• Must be able to work during US/California business hours (PST)

Technical Requirements:

• Desktop or laptop equipped with at least an Intel i3 processor (or its equivalent)
• Minimum of 8GB RAM
• With reliable internet connection of at least 50 Mbps (wired connection is preferred)
• A backup internet plan (such as pocket Wi-Fi, a second ISP, or mobile hotspot) in case of connectivity interruptions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45,000.00 per month
