Retail Development and Operations Manager – Automotive

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Retail Development and Operations Manager or RDM oversees and uses expert knowledge to guide the direction of all Allied Tire Centers (ATC). The RDM will be tasked to develop and maintain strong and successful client relationships that will enable strategic partnerships and seamless operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Growth Strategy

· Develops and implements a comprehensive retail growth strategy for ATCs, considering market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape.

· Identifies potential new locations for retail outlets and assess their viability based on demographic and economic factors.

Market Research and Analysis

· Partners with the Marketing team to conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities and consumer preferences in target regions.

Budgeting and Financial Analysis

· Prepares and manages budgets for retail development projects, including estimated costs for store setup, renovation, and ongoing expenses.

Cross-functional Collaboration

· Collaborates with Marketing for promotional activities and store launches.

· Works closely with the Administration - Compliance team and ensures that timely reportorial requirements of all Allied Tire Centers, which may include but is not limited to safety, environment, maintenance / structural items, are submitted and/or coordinated to the Head Office.

Performance Monitoring

· Monitors the performance of existing retail stores by analyzing sales data, foot traffic, and customer feedback.

· Implements strategies to optimize store performance and drive revenue growth.

Reporting and Presentations

· Prepares regular reports on retail development progress for ATCs and present findings to senior management.

Leadership, Mentorship and Compliance

· Provides adequate mentoring, coaching, and leadership to all ATC Team Members.

Customer Relationship Management

· Enhances customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field and experience.


• At least 5 years of proven experience in Retail Management preferably in the Automotive Industry, with adequate exposure to client and partner interfacing. High competency in the various facets of Sales, Service and Retail Management.


• 5 years in People Management, especially in leading R&F to Middle Management personnel.
