Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud & DevOps Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure. You will lead a talented engineering team while driving automation, infrastructure as code, and best-in-class deployment practices to support our rapidly growing platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments.
  • Architect and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated and reliable deployments.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for both infrastructure and applications.
  • Define and enforce cloud security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Design disaster recovery and high availability solutions for mission-critical services.
  • Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to support application deployment needs.
  • Automate operational and infrastructure tasks to reduce manual intervention.
  • Implement and maintain secrets management and access control systems.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior DevOps engineers.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
  • Lead incident response for production infrastructure issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on expertise in AWS services (EKS, IAM, S3, RDS, EC2).
  • Advanced proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker.
  • Solid understanding of networking in cloud environments.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards: ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, HIPAA.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar for automation.
  • Deep understanding of container technologies and orchestration.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and flexible work hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of authentication services like Auth0.
  • Understanding of database management and optimization in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures.
  • Background in advertising technology or marketing analytics infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Professional).
  • Familiarity with policy-as-code and security automation.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience implementing zero-trust security models.
