The Treasury Branch Operations Supervisor manages the daily funding operations of all branches to ensure optimal cash levels, efficient fund utilization, and strict compliance with internal policies and Service Level Agreements. The role oversees cash-in approvals, fund transfers, and documentation, while providing leadership to the team, driving process efficiency, and ensuring timely reporting and coordination with Head Office and partner banks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily branch funding operations, ensuring minimum cash positions and timely return of excess funds to Head Office
  • Approve cash-in requests, validate fund transfers, and oversee usage of treasury systems such as the Branch Funding System, CTS Online, and App2Go
  • Monitor and resolve escalated issues related to branch bank accounts, funding, and approvals
  • Manage documentation for bank account openings/closings, Letters of Instruction, and fund transfer reports
  • Prepare and maintain treasury reports, including Treasury Action Reports, Account Usage Reports, and Actual Cash-In per Bank
  • Lead, coach, and evaluate the team; oversee manning, performance, training, and administrative requests of Lead Liaisons
  • Coordinate with banks and internal teams, participate in cash balance reviews, and recommend improvements to funding operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in banking operations, treasury, or cash management; 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of cash management, branch funding, and bank reconciliation
  • Proficiency in treasury systems and reporting tools
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy
  • Amenable to work in Makati City
