Sales and Marketing Manager (Hotel Division)
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning and Leadership
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve hotel revenue goals.
- Set annual sales targets, forecast room sales, and monitor performance against objectives.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales and marketing team to ensure productivity and goal alignment.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and trends.
- Collaborate with management to align marketing initiatives with the hotel's overall business strategy.
2. Sales Management
- Oversee all corporate, group, and individual sales activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and agreements with clients and business partners.
- Conduct regular client visits, sales calls, and site inspections to promote the hotel's products and services.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance and implement action plans for improvement.
3. Marketing and Promotion
- Plan, develop, and oversee the implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns.
- Manage online and offline marketing activities, including social media, websites, and digital platforms.
- Coordinate with the creative team to design marketing materials such as brochures, posters, and online ads.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and hotel visibility across all marketing channels.
- Organize special events, promotions, and partnerships to boost hotel exposure and sales.
4. Budgeting and Financial Management
- Prepare and manage the annual sales and marketing budget.
- Monitor marketing expenditures to ensure cost efficiency and ROI (Return on Investment).
- Analyze financial performance, sales reports, and market data to support management decisions.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure excellent service delivery to all guests and clients.
- Handle major client accounts and resolve escalated concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through regular communication and personalized service.
6. Coordination and Communication
- Work closely with other departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Finance) to ensure alignment in service and promotions.
- Coordinate with the HR Department for sales training and staff development.
- Represent the hotel in trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate networking events.
7. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and marketing performance reports.
- Present updates and recommendations to top management for strategic decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, client databases, and marketing archives.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies.
- Recommend innovative ideas to improve customer engagement and brand competitiveness.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lapu-Lapu City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
