General Objective:

Responsible for assisting the Head of Finance in maintaining accounting records, producing monthly financial reports, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with all proper accounting controls.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Audits petty cash and check vouchers.

  • Records all payments/disbursements in check or cash.

  • Keeping accurate accounting entries (QuickBooks) timely and organized.

  • Handles bank reconciliation.

  • Processing of reimbursement claims in accordance with company policy.

  • Processing of payroll.

  • Supervising financial and accounting processes and ensuring adherence to company/government laws

  • Preparing and distributing budget reports and financial statements to management

  • Performing financial analysis, reporting and management activities

  • Hiring and training new employees on financial operations

  • Performing audits and assessments

  • Process and monitor all staffing and status changes, including new hires, allowances, transfers, promotions, and other amendments to compensation and employee data in compliance with policy and payroll requirements.

  • Prepares government remittance forms (BIR, SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-Ibig)

  • Maintains records through filing, retrieval, retention, storage, compilation, coding, updating, and purging.

  • Makes decisions and establishes work priorities on essentially procedure-oriented operations.

  • Assist employees in inquiries regarding payroll, taxes and government remittances

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 4 years of relevant experience

  • CPA Licensure is a big advantage

  • Proven comfort level with learning and working with various computer applications, specifically Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks)

  • Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
