About the Role

The Treasury Manager will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing the company's liquidity and financial resources. You will ensure efficient cash utilization, maintain strong banking relationships, and lead the Treasury team in executing critical financial operations that support the organization's objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, proactive, and skilled in both strategic thinking and day-to-day treasury operations.

What You'll Do

Liquidity & Cash Management

  • Oversee the company's liquidity position to ensure adequate working capital.
  • Manage cash flow projections, borrowing needs, and investment opportunities.
  • Review daily cash flow statements, cash positions, projections, and loan schedules.
  • Develop strategies to maintain sufficient funds for operational and capital requirements.
  • Oversee both short-term and long-term fund management, including forecasting and strategy formulation.
  • Make placement decisions for excess cash to optimize interest yield.
  • Maintain strong banking and financing partner relationships.

Treasury Operations & Process Improvement

  • Ensure efficient utilization of cash and financial services across the organization.
  • Approve key treasury-related transactions (check vouchers, cash advances, petty cash, loan releases, etc.).
  • Review and refine treasury processes; recommend improvements to Finance leadership.
  • Support internal audit activities and help implement corrective measures.
  • Resolve operational issues while ensuring alignment with Finance leadership, including the Accounting Manager and CFO.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare accurate financial schedules and reports as required by the CFO.
  • Ensure proper filing, documentation, and archiving of treasury-related documents.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead goal-setting and strategic planning for the Treasury unit.
  • Oversee daily work assignments and monitor team performance.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Train new and existing staff on cash and liquidity management best practices.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Other Responsibilities

  • Handle additional duties and special projects as assigned.
