Position Purpose
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing employee compensation and benefits, payroll processing, and compliance with all government-mandated requirements. In addition to these core functions, the role supports recruitment activities and other HR tasks to ensure smooth and efficient human resources operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Administer employee compensation structures, salaries, allowances, and benefits in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee compensation and benefits records.
- Assist in the review and implementation of compensation and benefits policies and programs.
Payroll Administration
- Prepare, process, and verify payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Ensure correct computation of wages, overtime, incentives, deductions, and adjustments.
- Coordinate with Finance or Accounting for payroll release, reconciliation, and reporting.
Government-Mandated Benefits & Compliance
- Process and manage statutory contributions including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other required government benefits.
- Prepare, file, and submit required reports, remittances, and documentation to government agencies on time.
- Assist in and attend DOLE appearances, hearings, inspections, and conferences as needed, including the preparation of required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and government regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and statutory deductions.
Recruitment Support
- Assist in recruitment activities including job posting, applicant screening, interview coordination, and hiring documentation.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes as needed.
General HR Support
- Assist in other HR functions such as employee records management, policy implementation, disciplinary documentation, and HR reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality of all HR and payroll information.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in HR, payroll, compensation and benefits, or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits.
Skills and Competencies
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and coordination skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
