Job Description

As a Senior Auditor, you'll lead multiple audit engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor junior team members. Your expertise will help assess risks, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality financial statements that strengthen trust and transparency for global clients.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3 to 5 years' experience in Australian external public practice audit.
• Solid understanding of relevant legislation, Australian Accounting Standards, and Auditing Standards.
• High computer literacy, with advanced proficiency in CASEWARE software.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to discuss client issues clearly and concisely.
• Broad commercial knowledge and sound judgment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• High accuracy and keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and mentor junior members.
• Flexibility and a proactive mindset toward travel and working across industries, clients, and locations.

Your Daily Tasks

• Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously and ensure timely completion.
• Identify key risk areas and accounting technical matters during audits.
• Prepare complete and accurate audit work papers.
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of clients' businesses to develop tailored audit approaches.
• Communicate clearly with clients to manage expectations and meet deadlines.
• Assess internal controls and recommend process improvements to clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong, professional, and trusted client relationships.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting and audit standards.
• Review work and coach audit team members to improve competence and productivity.
