We are working with a well-know bank here in the Philippines and they are currently looking for a Internal Auditor to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Audit Planning & Execution: Develops and implements an annual, risk-based audit plan approved by the Audit Committee, including special projects and regulatory requests.
  2. Governance & Compliance: Evaluates internal controls, policy compliance, and risk management processes to ensure the safeguarding of assets, accuracy of financial data, and operational efficiency.
  3. Reporting & Follow-Through: Prepares audit reports for management and the Audit Committee, monitors corrective actions, and ensures timely resolution of audit findings.
  4. Fraud Risk & Investigation: Assesses fraud risks, investigates suspected irregularities, and reports findings and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
  5. Quality Assurance & Standards: Maintains audit quality and independence, ensures compliance with professional auditing standards, and keeps audit manuals, systems, and procedures up to date.

Requirements:

  • CPA
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of internal or external audit experience within a banking or financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of risk-based auditing, accounting and auditing standards, and BSP/SEC regulations.
  • Technically proficient in conducting audits and skilled in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills; detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized with strong interpersonal abilities.
