About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Operations and Maintenance Engineer to join our solar power plant team. This role is ideal for a licensed Electrical Engineer who is eager to build a career in the renewable energy sector. Prior experience in the solar industry is not required but an advantage.

The O&M Engineer will ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of the plant, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring system performance, and supporting operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant Operations & Monitoring
  • Oversee daily operations of the solar power plant to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor plant systems and equipment through SCADA and other monitoring tools (experience in SCADA is an advantage but not required).
  • Analyze performance data and recommend corrective actions.

Maintenance

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance activities.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, electrical standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, operational records, and incident reports.
  • Participate in safety drills and training sessions.

Support & Reporting

  • Prepare regular plant performance and maintenance reports.
  • Assist in technical assessments and root cause analyses for plant issues.
  • Support plant improvement projects and upgrades.
  • Support the plant community related initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • License: Preferably a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE)

Experience:

  • Experience in solar power plant, renewable energy, or related electrical industry is an advantage but not required.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to be assigned on-site at the power plant located at Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan.
