occupational health nurse

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Graduate
• Registered Nurse with an active PRC License
• Preferably with OHNAP-BOSH certificate
• Preferably with First Aid/BLS training
• Should have relevant working experience or background on a nurse's works

Special Qualities:

• Handling of Industrial related accidents
• Preferably with knowledge on ISO 22000:2018, FSSC 22000 V6 (Additional Requirements) and company's operations
• Occupational Health and Safety Standards
• Handling of Communicable diseases
• Clinical knowledge
• Decision making skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and computer skills

Duties:

• Provides nursing care and treatment to all employees within the scope of nursing responsibility in the absence of the absence of the Company Physician, which includes giving First Aid, checking Vital Signs and doing Heath Interview to employee.
• Provides emergency treatment and care during emergency cases.
• Assisting in bringing ill or injured employees to nearby Hospital if needed.
• Prepares and submits health related reports mandated by the government.
• Dispensing, monitoring and issuing medicines. Provides inventory report of medicines and other supplies.
• Coordinates with the purchasing on medical supplies and materials needed
• Assesses and determines health status of employees after an illness and prepares health status clearance report before entering working area to prevent product contamination and spread of disease
• Maintaining all medical records of employees
• Managing and facilitating annual physical examination
• Coordinating health matters of employees (pertinent to third party and personnel deployed in the company)
• Administrating vaccines to employees if necessary
• Responsible in checking all physical examination results of employees. Prepares and submits documents such as Monthly medical summary report, Medical results monitoring sheet, Employees list for medical exam renewal and medical deficiency report.
• Updates health corner at the bulletin board and posts articles regarding health awareness.
• Performs other duties as may be required from time to time.
