Job Description Overview:

Site Engineer Position on NextAsia Land Inc. under the direction and supervision of the Deputy Construction Officer and under the authority of the Project Management Director. The Site engineers are skilled Engineers with extensive familiarity with the scientific and mathematical principles of Engineering Implementation, Execution, and Design, since they are the ones who are allocated on-site and implement the components needed to support Civil Engineering Activities.

Basic Professional Requirements:

• Licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines, in good standing with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in construction and project management.
• Strong experience in real estate developer (Horizontal or Subdivision Projects) is preferred.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD and SketchUp) and other design tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for presentations, management tools, and documentation.
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards such as BP220 and PD957, as well as the latest construction technologies.
• Familiarity with green building principles and sustainable design practices is an advantage.
• Having driving skills and a valid, up-to-date driver's license is an advantage.
• Residing near NEXTASIA Estonia Calamba located at Brgy. Majada Out, Calamba, Laguna

Preferred Qualifications:

· Strong project planning skills using tools like Gantt charts, timeline projections, and scheduling software to manage site activities and milestones. High urgency and focus, consistently attentive to site operations and treating timelines and deliverables with discipline and priority.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relay instructions clearly and make grounded decisions based on site realities.

· Common sense in decision-making, especially when balancing technical requirements with on-site practicality.

· Sense of accountability, owning responsibilities and outcomes while proactively resolving issues and reporting setbacks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

a. Collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors to develop project plans and schedules.

b. Ensure that construction activities adhere to project timelines and budget constraints.

c. Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment required for construction.

2. Site Management:

a. Oversee day-to-day construction operations, including managing subcontractors and labor teams.

b. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.

c. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement safety protocols.

3. Quality Control:

a. Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that work meets specified standards and specifications.

b. Address any construction defects or issues promptly and effectively.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

a. Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, change orders, and progress reports.

b. Prepare and present regular progress reports to project stakeholders.

c. Document any deviations from project plans and propose corrective actions.

5. Problem Solving:

a. Identify and resolve on-site issues and challenges in a timely manner.

b. Collaborate with project teams to develop solutions for unexpected problems.

6. Regulatory Compliance:

a. Ensure that all construction activities comply with the National Building Code.

7. Client Communication:

a. Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.

8. Cost Management:

a. Monitor and control project expenses to stay within budgetary constraints.

9. Sustainability and Quality Assurance:

a. Conduct regular inspections to maintain the overall quality of the construction work.

10. Team Leadership and Training:

a. Provide guidance and leadership to on-site contractors

11. Closeout and Turnover:

a. Coordinate the completion of punch lists and final inspections.

b. Ensure a smooth turnover of the project to the client, including all necessary documentation and keys.

12. Continuous Improvement:

a. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance construction processes and outcomes.

b. Suggest improvements to project management procedures based on lessons learned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
