About the Role:

Provides operational support to the SQA Department in protecting lives and property by reviewing surveillance video, patrolling in set intervals, and providing a safe and secure environment for employees, customers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and random safety/security inspections of buildings, reporting any unsafe conditions, unauthorized activities, or anomalies.

  • Monitor and control building ingress/egress, performing security checks and observing behavior to gather intelligence.

  • Validate ticketing/access systems and ensure proper compliance with building policies.

  • Inspect and monitor CCTV footage to detect violations or suspicious activity.

  • Issue Infraction-Violation Tickets (IVTs) and improvement notices when necessary.

  • Report irregular behavior or violations to supervisors and submit detailed inspection reports.

  • Act as first responder during emergencies, such as medical incidents, security breaches, or equipment failures.

  • Assist in apprehending violators when necessary and coordinate with law enforcement.

  • Perform other security-related duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Criminology or a related field.

Licensed Criminologist is an advantage.

Must hold certifications such as:

  • Certified Security Professional (CSP)

  • Certified Security Management Specialist (CSMS)

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in:

  • Industrial security

  • Disaster risk management

  • Crime protection/prevention

  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, risk management practices, and crime prevention methods.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and self-motivation.

  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

  • Calm, composed, and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.
