We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Group Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is critical in managing the financial operations of our subsidiaries and related companies within the group. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, contributing directly to the financial health and growth of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full sets of accounts for all subsidiaries and related companies, ensuring timely monthly closings and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee general ledger transactions, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, and schedules, ensuring correctness and timely submission for review.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, along with budgeting, cash flow management, foreign exchange, and financial projections.
  • Conduct statutory consolidation and prepare group consolidated financial statements.
  • Review, develop, and implement financial policies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Continuously improve the ERP system and processes for operational efficiency.
  • Lead credit control reviews and oversee collection effectiveness.
  • Manage statutory audits, including preparation of financial statements and coordination with external auditors.
  • Manage the company's tax matters, including government service taxes and corporate tax, across all subsidiaries and related companies.
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and other external parties or stakeholders.
  • Participate in various projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA qualifications, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in audit field is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with a willingness to support team members in all areas.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, results-oriented with a sharp business acumen.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
