Position Title: Jr. NOC Engineer

Work Set Up: On-site

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PHT

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark, Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

A Junior NOC (Network Operations Center) Engineer is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network issues in a timely manner. They work under the supervision of a senior NOC engineer and collaborate with other IT teams to maintain the organization's computer network.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor network performance and availability, identifying and escalating issues as needed.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for connectivity and server-related concerns.

  • Document network events, outages, and resolution steps accurately.

  • Respond to monitoring alerts, triage incidents, and escalate to the appropriate teams.

  • Follow incident and change management procedures to ensure timely issue resolution and smooth updates.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and vendors to ensure issues are addressed promptly.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong grasp of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing, VPN, etc.)

  • Experience using network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix)

  • Basic Windows/Linux/Unix administration

  • Knowledge of Python/Bash scripting for automation
  • Understanding of network security and related tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
  • Familiarity with ITIL incident management processes
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Certifications like CCNA, Network+, or ITIL are a plus
