Cost Segregation Department Junior Project Engineers work closely with the Sales Team and Clients to gather the necessary information to produce a complete and accurate Cost Segregation Study in a timely manner. Individuals in this position work diligently to foster and cultivate a strong working relationship with all Clients and Sales Team to ensure that they have positive experience. The main goal of this position is to learn and develop knowledge with ongoing training and support.

Salary Range: 30, ,000

Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to read and evaluate construction plans
  • Must be able to do take-off on all types and categories of construction drawings
  • Must know how to allocate assets into the appropriate class lives
  • Must be highly organized
  • Must be able to manage time effectively
  • Must be able to ascertain scope of project
  • Must be able to read and decipher Depreciation Schedules and other Cost Compilation Documentation
  • Demonstrated understanding of the basics of Cost Segregation
  • Project costing or materials costing beneficial

Requirements:

  • One (1) to Three (3) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with Basic construction, floor plans, blueprints, NEPs and building codes.
  • Background experience working with Design and Architectural firms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, written (basic grammar, punctuation) and verbal.
  • Proficiency in CRM software; Excel; Microsoft Office, PowerBI or any other related softwares.
