The Qualifications We Seek

  • 5 years of extensive experience in loan processing or credit assessment, with a deep understanding of complex finance solutions and lending practices.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate operational processes to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.
  • Proven ability to oversee end-to-end loan processing, from initial client inquiry to settlement, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of Australian mortgage products, lending policies, and compliance regulations, particularly in relation to credit assessment and risk management.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with experience liaising with clients, lenders, and third parties (including solicitors, real estate agents, and lenders) to ensure seamless loan processing.
  • Demonstrated capacity for strategic problem-solving and decision-making, with a focus on delivering positive outcomes for clients and the business.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient in loan processing software and CRM systems, with the ability to manage and optimise workflows, and implement improvements as needed.
  • A strong commitment to compliance and risk management, with a meticulous approach to maintaining accurate records and adhering to industry standards.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior staff, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the team and supporting their professional growth and development.
  • A high degree of discretion and confidentiality, with experience handling sensitive financial data and client information.

Your Daily Tasks

Credit Management

  • Oversee loan applications from inquiry to settlement
  • Ensure accurate documentation submission to lenders
  • Liaise with lenders, clients, and third parties to ensure a smooth process
  • Conduct compliance checks and provide timely client updates
  • Follow up on outstanding information and update CRM records accurately

Operations Management

  • Provide administrative support to the management team
  • Manage workflow and ensure timely completion of deadlines
  • Maintain office systems, databases, and documentation
  • Coordinate client meetings and support internal communication
  • Handle calls, emails, and office supply management

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with Australian regulations and industry standards
  • Prepare reports for management on loan applications and settlements
