About the role

R-II Builders Inc. is seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic Construction team. As a Planner/Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our construction projects in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This full-time position will involve developing and managing comprehensive project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and optimising resource utilisation to meet project milestones.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including critical path analysis and resource planning
  2. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts
  3. Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders
  4. Identify and mitigate potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
  5. Analyse project data and provide recommendations to improve planning and scheduling processes
  6. Assist with the preparation of progress reports, cost reports, and other project documentation

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably within the building and infrastructure sectors
  2. Strong proficiency in using project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve scheduling challenges
  5. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  6. Familiarity with construction industry regulations and safety standards
  7. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
