Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Bookkeeper to manage our company's financial records, including transactions, payroll, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, experience with bookkeeping software, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist with payroll processing, tax compliance, and government reporting.
  • Monitor budgets and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • With at least 1 year of experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations is a plus.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., CPA, CB, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting and budgeting.
