A sales representative who promotes and sells a company's products or services to customers, acting as the primary link between the business and its clients.

Job Description

  • Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, providing personalized assistance and attentive service throughout their shopping experience. Engage customers in conversation to understand their vision needs, lifestyle preferences, and style preferences, offering tailored recommendations and solutions. Demonstrate product features, benefits, and value propositions to help customers make informed decisions about their eyewear purchases.
  • Sales and Product Knowledge: Utilize your knowledge of our product offerings, including frames, lenses, and accessories, to recommend suitable options based on customer preferences and prescription requirements. Drive sales by effectively communicating the benefits of our products and services, upselling and cross-selling additional items as appropriate. Stay informed about industry trends, new product launches, and promotional offers to provide customers with up-to-date information and opportunities.
  • Order Processing and Follow-Up: Assist customers with frame selection, lens options, and customization preferences, guiding them through the order process and ensuring accuracy in their orders. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, including handling payments, issuing receipts, and managing inventory updates. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases, address any concerns or questions, and encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Store Maintenance and Visual Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including displays, shelves, and product showcases, to enhance the overall shopping experience. Assist with visual merchandising tasks, such as restocking shelves, arranging displays, and updating signage, to highlight new arrivals and promotions effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by tracking stock levels, restocking shelves, and reporting low inventory to management.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field or a high school diploma
  • Proven at least 2 years of sales experience
