Job Title: Finance Specialist

This role is responsible for the finance operations of a manufacturing company, with core responsibilities in monthly and year-end financial closing, treasury management, and regulatory compliance. The role involves close liaison with external auditors, company secretary, and bankers. The ideal candidate must have a solid accounting foundation, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

Experience in audit is preferred.

· Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage.

· Experience working in a Public Listed Company or familiarity with Infor Syteline ERP system will be an added advantage.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of other MS Office applications.

· Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including but not limited to:

  • Preparation of journal entries.

  • General ledger (G/L) reconciliations.

  • Booking of accruals and provisions.

  • Prepayment amortization.

  • Intercompany recharges and reconciliations.

  • Review of trial balance to ensure accuracy and completeness.

· Ensure overall accuracy and integrity of financial records in compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).

· Prepare and submit reports required by local authorities, including Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).

· Maintain fixed assets register, monitor CAPEX spending, ensure proper depreciation, and prepare monthly reports.

· Prepare Balance Sheet forecasts and conduct regular Balance Sheet reviews.

· Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and variance analysis.

· Manage cash flow activities, including preparation of 13-week cash forecasts and monthly cash flow reports.

· Liaise with banks for trade transactions and handle cash management activities.

· Support year-end financial audits, tax audits, and other statutory compliance requirements.

· Provide timely financial information and support to other business units.

· Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as may be assigned by the Finance Manager or immediate superior.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php28,000.00 per month
