Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our

accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the monthly close

process, preparing tax filings, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting a variety of

accounting functions as needed. This role requires strong analytical skills, professional judgment, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Perform monthly financial close activities, including journal entries, account analysis,

and financial statement preparation.

● Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports, ensuring compliance with

federal, state, and local tax regulations.

● Conduct bank and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

● Assist with year-end audits and documentation preparation.

● Support ad hoc accounting tasks and financial projects as they arise.

● Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

● Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support business

operations.

Qualifications:

● CPA license required (active and in good standing).

● Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role.

● Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and tax regulations.

● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

● Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in a small to mid-sized business or public accounting firm.
