Payroll Associate

Employment Type: Project-Based Contract (Six Months)

Work Setup: 100% Onsite

Work Schedule: Night Shift (Following U.S. Eastern Time Zone)

Location: Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City

Salary Package: 50,000 PHP to 70,000 PHP/Monthly

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Associate.This role is primarily responsible for assisting with weekly payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Vista/Viewpoint software or similar payroll systems and be able to work independently in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with weekly payroll processing for all employees using Vista/Viewpoint software.
• Support payroll-related compliance tasks, including certified payroll, quarterly tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper documentation for audits and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related questions and issues.
• Learn and complete various payroll compliance tasks, with training provided as needed.
• Support ad hoc payroll projects or special initiatives as assigned.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all payroll data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any related field.
• Experience working with U.S based clients is a must.
• Previous experience in payroll processing for at least 3 years, preferably in construction or engineering industries.
• Experience with Vista/Viewpoint software or similar payroll platforms is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax filings, and certified payroll requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a virtual environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred.
