Starting Salary: ₱40,000 – ₱55,000 / month (depending on experience)


About the Role

We're starting a bookkeeping and compliance service company that helps small Filipino businesses stay compliant with BIR, SEC, and LGU requirements.

We're looking for a Senior Accountant who will serve as the technical lead — helping set up our processes, manage client accounts, and ensure accuracy and compliance from day one.

You will work directly with the business owner to build the foundation of our operations and mentor future junior staff.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily bookkeeping operations for multiple small-business clients
  • Review and finalize books of accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Prepare and file BIR forms (2550M/Q, 2551Q, 1601C, 1701Q, etc.)
  • Prepare Financial Statements (FS) and AFS drafts for audit
  • Supervise and review junior bookkeeper/admin work
  • Ensure compliance with BIR and SEC deadlines
  • Handle GIS and AFS filings via SEC eFAST
  • Provide advice and tax compliance support to clients
  • Help develop internal accounting systems, templates, and workflows
  • Support business registration, renewals, and compliance audits for clients

Qualifications

Must be a CPA (Certified Public Accountant)

At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting or audit experience

Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and bookkeeping

Familiarity with BIR eFPS / eBIR forms and SEC filing systems

Proficient in accounting tools (QuickBooks, Xero, or Wave)

Experience in small business or outsourced accounting setup is a plus

Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently

Willing to help build systems and processes for a growing startup
