About the role

Global Payments Process Centre, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant for Settlements Accounting to join our growing team in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a full-time employee, you will deliver reliable, timely, and accurate financial data by reviewing and reconciling accounts.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver reliable, timely, and accurate financial data by reviewing and reconciling accounts.
  • Execute an efficient and accurate month‑end close for assigned portfolios.
  • Act as first‑level reviewer for staff outputs and journal entries.
  • Mitigate risk through timely variance research, escalation, and coordination.
  • Own end‑to‑end settlement processes; prepare and post correcting/allocating/accrual JEs.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations with in‑depth analysis; clear aged items.
  • Present monthly results and variance explanations to Accounting/Finance leadership.
  • Support audits; ensure GAAP/SOX and policy adherence; document/improve procedures.
  • Liaise with Treasury and cross‑functional teams; escalate issues appropriately.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's in Accounting or related; 3–5+ years accounting experience.
  2. CPA a plus; Oracle/GL reconciliation tool knowledge preferred.
  3. Strong Excel skills; GAAP/SOX knowledge.
  4. Credit card processing/bankcard experience preferred.
  5. Ability to collaborate across departments.
  6. Settlement operations and month‑end close.
  7. JE preparation and review; recon analysis.
  8. Variance analysis and presentation to management.
  9. Audit support and SOX control adherence.
  10. Process documentation and improvements.
