Senior Transport Specialist

I JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Define and deploy transportation strategy and processes for SE inbound, compliance and freight bill audit operations.

· Efficiently manage and optimize transportation flows in terms of cost and speed of execution ( inbound transportation via air, ocean, express and land).

· Manage  APC/SEITLAP import shipments from booking to delivery.

· Plan and control the import clearance and delivery of shipments.

· Collaborate with different vendors, shippers, warehouse, Purchasing and other department for the smooth import operations.

· Manage and control transportation cost and KPI's (i.e. On time delivery, etc)

· Lead and manage compliance to the local and international customs regulatory requirements.

· Identify opportunities to optimize SE logistic flow.

· Actively participate in the regional transport skills network.

· Define technical and operational requirements to facilitate transportation RFQ.

· Lead the deployment of global & regional initiatives in the country.

· Closely collaborate with all support functions.

· Efficiently manage vendors and performance to achieve best in class service level.

· Create and develop processes, guidelines and procedures for smooth transport operations

· Prepare & ensure timely submission of reports to regional transportation, finance & government  authorities.

· Handle Audit activities and support ( Post clearance audit, PEZA ,etc )

· Ensure the team and service provider's compliance to all quality procedures,local government regulatory requirements customer's shipping requirements and international trading standards.

· Work closely with Customs and Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA)  to ensure compliance with all the government    regulatory requirements.

· Handle and manage FTA applications and Back to Back CO.

· Manage freight bill auditing process, from receiving of bills, creation of P.O. until paid to service providers including accruals.

· Coach and mentor the team to resolve complex issues. / Build  and manage  a high performing transportation team.

·       Budget: 80k-85K Monthly

·       Location: Ph Hub

·       Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

·       Work Hours: 8AM to 6PM

II JOB QUALIFICATIONS

·       Education: University graduate

·       Job Related Experience: Transportation and customs compliance, Experience in a service environment (Logistics, freight forwarding ).

·       Business Understanding: Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills):

·       With 5 years related experience in Logistics and transportation functions

·       With advanced MS Excel and powerpoint knowledge

·       Knowledge of continuous improvement skills (kaizen, Lean, Six sigma)

·       With knowledge in project management

·       Good analytical and critical thinking skills.

·       Demonstrate leadership skills, inter-personal skills, and good  Communication skills( written and verbal).
