We are seeking a highly skilled Revit Structural Drafter with a minimum of 3 years' experience working on commercial and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has strong technical proficiency in Revit, hands-on experience in steel structure detailing, and familiarity with Australian building codes and drafting standards. You will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality drawings, coordinating with engineers and fabricators, and ensuring all outputs align with client specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed 3D models and drawings for steel structures using Revit.
  • Produce structural steel fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and assembly details.
  • Interpret engineering plans and convert them into precise drafting outputs.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to clarify design requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Australian standards (AS/NZS) or applicable client standards.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and adhere to timelines.
  • Manage workflow efficiently for multiple projects within given deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years proven experience as Revit Steel Detailer/Drafter.
  • Background working on steel structure projects (industrial, commercial, residential, or bridges).
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (intermediate to advanced).
  • Experience preparing structural steel fabrication drawings.
  • Familiarity with Australian building codes and standards (AS/NZS); or experience with codes from other regions if not AU.
  • Knowledge of drafting workflows and steel detailing best practices.
  • Experience coordinating with steel fabricators is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with additional tools/software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, or related applications is preferred.
