Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed and accurate structural drawings using Revit for commercial, residential, industrial, and temporary works projects.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to ensure design documentation is precise, compliant, and aligned with project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior draftsmen, contributing to a supportive and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Implement and continuously refine company drafting standards to drive consistency, quality, and efficiency across all outputs.
  • Explore and adopt workflow-enhancing tools and methodologies — including Dynamo — to improve drafting efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, software innovations, and best-practice drafting techniques.
Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • 5+ years of structural drafting experience, with strong proficiency in Revit.
  • Excellent knowledge of Australian Building Codes, Australian Standards, construction methods, and detailing practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders.
  • Experience with advanced tools such as Revit, Dynamo, Advanced Steel, Civil3D, or similar platforms, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
