Job Description

The role will handle the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedule and procedures for all PLPI owned LPG installation facilities both commercial and industrial customers to maximize equipment reliability and zero downtime.
  • Coordinate directly with the customer/account and provide schedule of inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections, identify, assess all PLPI owned LPG installations for repair/maintenance/replacement which includes LPG tanks, regulators, valves, vaporizers, meters, piping system and other associated equipment to efficiently and safely operate.
  • Generate inspection report, inspection checklist and assessment and provide recommendations for submission to the Technical Services Manager (TSM)
  • Prepare cost estimates and develop scope of work based on the provided recommendations and secure approval from the Technical Services Manager (TSM)
  • TSE to create Purchase Requisition (PR) creation and Material Services and Procurement Group (MSPG) by conducting a tender for the maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and update the asset management database.
  • Provide technical recommendations for system upgrades, repairs and component replacements.
  • Coordinate with external service providers for specialized repairs/replacement or maintenance activities.
  • TSE to assist the PLPI Dealers for any repairs/maintenance activities for their customer.
  • Manage and supervise all maintenance activities of the maintenance contractors and ensure compliance with PLPI standards, HSSE and Statutory requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are implemented cost effectively and within schedule
  • Ensure optimum utilization of LPG assets and resources.
  • Coordinate with PLPI accredited LPG Suppliers for the parts needed for the maintenance, repair/replacement activities.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and customer complaints. Ensure 24/7 availability when needed.
  • Check the completeness all submitted documents of the maintenance contractors for payment processing.
  • Conduct performance evaluation of the maintenance contractors.
  • Assist the Technical Services Manager in the planning, preparation and control of annual CAPEX/OPEX budgets.
  • Submission of monthly updates/reports to Technical Service Manager (TSM).
  • Performed other duties as assigned by the Technical Services Manager (TSM)

Desired Profile

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering particularly in the field of Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, and/or Civil.
  • License Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics and Civil Engineer.
  • With at least 3 years experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an oil/gas industry or related field is an advantage.
  • Project and Contractor Management experience.
  • Knowledge of LPG System components (LPG Tanks, Piping, Regulators, Vaporizers, Valves, etc.).
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (NFPA 58, Fire Code of the Phil., etc.)
  • BOSH and COSH Safety Training.
  • Knows how to drive with valid driver's license with a restriction code B, B1 & B2
  • With basic knowledge in AutoCAD 3D and 2D drafting
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites.
