Job Description

The role will handle the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspection/verification to gather necessary data for the design of the LP System.
  • Design LPG installation and piping system for the potential industrial and commercial customers and ensure that it is in accordance to the applicable LPG safety standards (i.e NFPA 58, Fire Code of the Phil, and other local regulations).
  • Prepare cost estimates, develop scope of work and LPG piping layout based on the customer requirement and LPG safety standards and request approval to the Line Manager.
  • Provide the approved cost estimate to the assigned Key Account Manager (KAM) / Key Account Specialist (KAS) for financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with the Material Services and Procurement Group (MSPG) by conducting a tender for the project/activities.
  • Ensure projects are implemented cost effectively and within schedule.
  • Supervise and coordinate construction and onsite LPG installation activities and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of LPG assets and resources.
  • Check the completeness of all submitted documents of the project contractors for payment processing.
  • Conduct performance evaluation of the project contractors.
  • Provide technical support to all PLPI Dealers, Operations and Sales Team.
  • Assist the Technical Services Manager in the planning, preparation and control of annual CAPEX/OPEX budgets.
  • Submission of monthly reports to Technical Service Manager (TSM).
  • Performed other duties as assigned by the Technical Services Manager (TSM)

Desired Profile

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering particularly in the field of Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, and/or Civil.
  • License Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics and Civil Engineer.
  • With at least 3 years experience as a Project Engineer or Technical Service Engineer in an oil/gas industry is an advantage.
  • Project and Contractor Management experience.
  • Knowledge of LPG System components (LPG Tanks,Piping, Regulators, Vaporizers, Valves, etc.)
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (NFPA 58, Fire Code of the Phil., etc.)
  • BOSH and COSH Safety Training.
  • Knows how to drive with valid driver's license with a restriction code B, B1 & B2
  • With basic knowledge in AutoCAD 3D and 2D drafting
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Willingness to travel to various client/project sites as needed.
