Job Summary: Equilibrium Engineering is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Fire and Life Safety Specialist to join our growing technical team. This role is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer, including fresh graduates who is passionate about ensuring compliance with fire protection and life safety codes, standards, and engineering principles.

You will be directly involved in conducting site inspections, technical audits, preparing technical reports, and assisting in the design and documentation of fire and life safety systems in accordance with NFPA standards and the Fire Code of the Philippines (RA 9514).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical audit inspections for fire protection and life safety systems (e.g., sprinklers, standpipes, fire pumps, FDAS, smoke control systems, etc.).
  • Prepare detailed technical service reports and Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) reports, including key findings and compliance recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing Fire Protection and Life Safety System designs, ensuring alignment with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, RA 9514).
  • Prepare technical documentation such as: Design reports, Engineering checklists, Method statements, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Compliance documentation & Other necessary documents
  • Coordinate with design and inspection teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Prepare visual documentation and presentations for clients and internal reviews.
  • Participate in technical trainings, workshops, and seminars to advance technical knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Fresh graduates and engineers with experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong command of technical writing and documentation
  • Knowledge in Canva is a plus (for presentations and visuals)
  • Willingness to learn and undergo technical training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and quality.
