Flameguard is looking for young engineering talents who'd like to explore a career in fire protection. We need fresh graduates with strong eagerness to learn and the drive to take part in our mission to improve fire safety practices in the Philippines. This role is only for applicants willing to specialize in fire protection and work relentlessly toward becoming some of the best fire protection engineers in the country.

Candidates must be fresh graduates preferably with no prior work experience. Must be willing to work in Quezon City.

About Us

Flameguard is a fire protection contractor, but it is NOT like any other. We love fire protection first, before we treat it as a business. Fire safety is poorly practiced in the Philippines, with many systems being installed incorrectly and ending up just expensive decorations. We want to change that by continuously growing a team of NFPA certified engineers with deep commitment to fire protection. We deliver world-class, real, and effective fire protection.

Requirements
  • Engineering board exam passer (ME, ECE)
  • Preferably fresh graduates
  • Residing near Flameguard office (50 Holy Spirit Drive, Don Antonio Heights 2, Quezon City)
  • Preferably from a state university
  • Preferably INC member
Job Description
  • Lead a team in conducting preventive maintenance (ITM) of water-based fire suppression systems such as fire sprinklers, standpipe, fire pumps, preaction, and deluge according to NFPA 25. This includes generating a fire pump performance curve and interpreting performance, as well as functionality testing of systems and part thereof such as deluge valve, PRV, preaction, etc.
  • Submit fire protection maintenance comprehensive report including checklist and narrative explanation of existing deficiencies and suggesting action plan addressing root causes of issues.
  • Lead fire alarm team in performing fire alarm preventive maintenance usually in high rise buildings and industrial facilities, in compliance with NFPA 72.
  • Design fire protection systems based on NFPA standards such as NFPA 13, 14, 15, 20, and 72.
  • Prepare shop drawings, technical specifications, and material datasheets.
  • Conduct site inspections, system testing, and commissioning
  • Prepare proposals and answer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and BFP representatives to ensure project compliance
  • Commit to continuous learning, especially mastery of NFPA standard
