The Sample Solutions Buyer role is the crucial connection between our global network of partners and the solutions needed by our customers. The Sample Solutions Buyer will engage with a wide range of Dynata teams and our global network of sample partners for sourcing, recommending, and on-boarding new sources of global supply.

In order to be successful, the Sample Solutions Buyer must have excellent communication skills, enjoy negotiating, be detail oriented and a truly team player. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record or procurement experience

Minimum of 1-2 years procurement or operations-related work experience, ideally in a market research environment.Experience in structured process improvement activities is strongly preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Customer Service Orientation: willing to go the extra mile to develop solutions for internal and external customer needs

Strong analytical and time management skills

Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Ability to successfully work with diverse team in a cross-departmental role

Must be compulsive about data accuracy and quality

Sales and marketing knowledge a plusRESPONSIBILITIES:Quickly and effectively respond to internal customer requests for sample

Create and develop effective external procurement relationships to provide excellent customer support

Negotiate costs and agreements with partners to provide the best possible mix of margin and quality

Responsible for working with Finance and partners to effectively process invoices

Assist with the development and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on key performance indicators related to procurement activities

Assist with specific Sample Solutions projects such as partner quality, cost reduction, client solutioning, etc.Other duties as assigned
