Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies at the construction site.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts and conditions and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and implement safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses (JHA).
  • Organize and lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training for site personnel.
  • Maintain documentation related to safety audits, inspection reports, and incident investigations.
  • Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near-misses, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors to promote a safe work environment.
  • Liaise with government safety inspectors and comply with legal and regulatory safety requirements.
