We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Staff Accountant to join Genesys. As a Staff Accountant you will play a key role in managing the financial activities an ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Analyze prepayment and accruals to ensure accuracy.
  • Fixed asset accounting, roll forward and reconciliations.
  • Experience with accounting treatment of leases.
  • Experience with intercompany accounting.
  • Experience with preparing payroll journal entries.
  • Calculate allocation of expenses across multiple business units and entities.
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Work with external auditors during annual audit process.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience,
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP or IFRS.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in Excel is required, experience with QuickBooks a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication an interpersonal skill, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
