Oversee daily warehouse operations and logistics activities. The role ensures accuracy of stock handling, adherence to food safety standards, and timely dispatch of products to commissary outlets/franchisees. The supervisor directly manages warehouse staff and drivers, monitors compliance with SOPs, and enforces cost-efficient, accurate, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise daily receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Monitor warehouse sanitation and pest control.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist in full physical inventories.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Supervise loading, dispatch, and delivery scheduling.
  • Ensure drivers follow assigned routes and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor vehicle conditions and report issues to manager.
  • Track deliveries using system records or manual logs.

Inventory Management

  • Check stock levels and report low inventory to manager.
  • Reconcile variances between physical and system stocks.
  • Coordinate with production and purchasing on stock availability.

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and commissary policies.
  • Monitor cold chain integrity (temperature logs).
  • Maintain documentation for traceability and audits.

People & Performance Management

  • Supervise warehouse staff, pickers, helpers, and drivers.
  • Provide training on SOPs, safety, and food handling.
  • Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of subordinates.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Production, QA, and Purchasing for raw material and product flow.
  • Support sales and outlets by ensuring timely delivery.
  • Escalate issues to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
