Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage a team of warehouse staff and coordinate with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management:

  2. Supervise and motivate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety standards.

  3. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs.

  4. Warehouse Operations:

  5. Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of goods.

  6. Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock checks.

  7. Inventory Control:

  8. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize losses and maximize efficiency.

  9. Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies.

  10. Safety and Compliance:

  11. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.

  12. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions.

  13. Customer Service:

  14. Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure on-time delivery.

  15. Resolve any issues related to shipments or inventory.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
