The Staff Nurse I provides support to the healthcare team by addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care related to the services of the unit, which will cover a wide patient demographic with assignment in the ambulatory surgical care unit in Chong Hua Medical Mall.

At this level, the incumbent works on familiarizing him/herself with the services of the unit. S/He also participates in the continuous improvement of quality of service in the department, and performs other duties as directed by the immediate superior.

Qualifications

  • A Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Possess a valid license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as a Registered Nurse
  • With 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience in OR or OPD
  • Possess a current certificate in Basic Life Support Training (BLS)
  • Current member of good standing of the following associations:
  • Philippine Nurses' Association (PNA)
  • Must be certified in all training required for the unit/ area of assignment as stated in the Nursing Training Matrix.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Must be willing to be assigned in Chong Hua Medical Mall.
  • Effective communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required; ability to communicate well in English is an advantage.
