Our Company in the Philippines, Epta Refrigeration Phils. Inc. is looking for Project Engineer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Attends client meetings to gather information regarding client's requirements and expectations
• Conducts ocular inspection to identify and report any discrepancies between the provided layout versus the actual site condition
• Prepares various layout plans to ensure consistent documentation of project prior to signing
• Prepares timetable as agreed upon with clients
• Sources for providers staff house, equipment and other materials that are essential for the project
• requests for materials, tools, equipment and other resources needed prior to the start of project
• Secures contracts, receipts and other important documents of requested resources to ensure refund or any other transactions required in accordance to terms agreed by both parties
• Coordinates with concerned departments regarding schedule of rental, delivery and release of requested resources
• Ensures proper delegation of task for warehouseman and installation team to effectively maximize capacities
• Follows policies and procedures on project installation
• Conducts site inspection to check condition of all deliveries and document any discrepancies or damage before unloading items from container for insurance claims
• Supervises in unloading and staging of showcases, materials and other equipment to prevent damage in property and life
• Collaborates with Warehouse department for onsite controlling of material inventory to ensure one-time mobilization
• Supervises site works ensuring timely and proper implementation of layout as per design and timeline
• Collaborates with team in troubleshooting and evaluating system performance to report any deviations and implement necessary changes following agreed solution
• Ensures that tools and excess materials are returned to Warehouse prior to project turn over
• Implements strict quality control by evaluating performance of Project Installation Team upon completion

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Professional License is an advantage but not required

• Technical Skills

Knowledgeable in refrigeration system, operation and project installation procedures. Reporting and computing skills

1. Industry experience

At least 1 year experience in refrigeration and air-conditioning industry.

• Management skills

Experience in managing a project for at least 1 year

• Personal qualities

Willing to be deployed to provinces for months, work night-shifts and weekends. Must have good coordinating skills. Strong time management and organizational ability, detail oriented and flexible to change. Able to anticipate and head off problems that can jeopardize deadlines, budget and user acceptance. Trustworthy and able to uphold integrity at all times.

• Technology skills

Strong background and working knowledge of Microsoft products and AutoCAD

• Language skills:

English and Filipino (dialect is an advantage)
