JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for processing the client's payment to complete the sale transaction. As one of the key persons in the store operations, the Cashier is in charge of providing a luxurious lifestyle experience to clients consistent with the brand image and attend each client with care and professionalism.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Process the payment of the client, whether cash or card, to complete the sale transaction in close coordination with the attending Sales Associate.
  2. Ensure the accuracy of the price tag and product description before processing the payment to avoid discrepancies.
  3. Maintain the smooth operations of the Point of Sales (POS) system and liaise with the IT department in case of system failure.
  4. Prepare Cashier Transaction Report (CTR), OR monitoring report, and sales report daily, monthly, or as needed.
  5. Reconcile cash, debit/credit card receipts daily, and communicate all sales and cash control issues with the Boutique Manager or store-in-charge.
  6. Coordinate with banks for transaction-related concerns such as cash deposits and the use of credit cards.
  7. Keep up-to-date knowledge of the different bank promotions and ensure their proper execution.
  8. Facilitate the issuance of credit memos, debit memos, and exchanged item forms with strict adherence to the store policies.
  9. Record daily entries on the BIR Books of Accounts and ensure the accuracy of the details.
  10. Handle the change fund, petty cash, and monitor store supplies and expenses.
  11. Ensure the upkeep of the counter area, including devices and the replenishment of cashiering-related supplies.
  12. Maintain a systematic filing of government registration documents inside the store.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
