ASW Global follows a hybrid setup: 3 days onsite in BGC and 2 days WFH in the first month. After one month, the role is fully remote, with regular hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Manila time (aligned with Australian business hours).

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the critical link between product vision and engineering execution. You'll dive deep into global payments and FX services, translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable requirements. Your work will directly empower developers to deliver solutions that drive significant value for clients and align with strategic goals

  • Lead Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate workshops with business, compliance, and technical teams to deconstruct complex problems and align on solutions.
  • Own the Backlog: Manage and prioritise user stories with robust acceptance criteria, ensuring engineering teams have clarity to deliver.
  • Technical Translator: Bridge the gap between product and engineering by leveraging your knowledge of APIs and data flows.
  • Support Delivery: Stay embedded with development teams throughout sprints, clarifying requirements and supporting successful releases.

Skills, Experience & Qualification

  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment
  • Strong background in fintech, ideally with expertise in FX, payments, or compliance
  • Solid understanding of APIs, data mapping, and system integrations
  • Familiarity with cloud-based, serverless architectures is a plus
  • Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies (backlog refinement, user story writing, agile ceremonies)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interest in leveraging AI tools to improve work and processes
