Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems for various projects. This role involves project planning, coordination with other engineering disciplines, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems including HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Perform load calculations and system sizing using appropriate software and standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, civil, electrical, and structural engineers for integrated project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with local regulations, safety codes, and company standards.
  • Manage project documentation and coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
  • Review and approve technical submittals and shop drawings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC), preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design or construction.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and local codes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
