The Roles:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities as a General Accounting Associate:

  • Completion of accounting close activities through the following:

  • Posting of journal entries and reconciliations of the firm's Cash and other Balance Sheet accounts

  • Analysis of the firm's costs and month-to-month P&L fluctuations
  • Tracking, booking, depreciation, and reconciliation of Fixed Assets
  • Compliance to external audit requirements
  • Provision of support to Financial Reporting and Regulatory Compliance group for any general ledger and financial data requirement
  • Compliance with the preparation and maintenance of updated process documentations
  • Any related process as required by the client

Specific Duties and Responsibilities of a Financial Planning Analysis Associate:

  • Provide timely, accurate, and insightful reports to analyze and present the firm's profitability across multiple dimensions
  • Measure actual results against budget, historical, and forecasted results
  • Employ financial analysis to provide practical counsel to management on results
  • Build and validate a model for the allocation of the firm's expenses
  • Prepare financial presentations, charts, tables, and other exhibits as requested
  • Enhance budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process
  • Review and application of management fee and performance fee collections against receivables
  • Completion of accounting close activities through the following:

- Posting of journal entries and reconciliations of the client's revenue and receivable accounts

- Performance, review, and analysis of Revenue-related reports

- Review of control report, billing records, and loading of Net Asset Value

  • Compliance with the preparation and maintenance of updated process documentations
  • Any related process as required by the client

Qualifications:

  1. The ideal candidate has strong skills on MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
  2. Excellent command of the English language - oral and written.
  3. Committed to work on a late mid-shift schedule (5PM to 2AM / 6PM to 3AM)

Education and Experience:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant is a plus. This role is open to Fresh Graduates.
  2. Relevant work experience on financial modelling, financial data reporting systems, and/or General Accounting in the asset management industry is a plus.
